Lynn McLean/Exploring Technology in Play Therapy--Live Webinar

Exploring Technology in the Play Room

Master the art of using technology ethically in your sessions.

Saturday, December 12, 2026

8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

You know your clients and you know they love technology. How do you harness that love in the play therapy room in an ethical way?

Wondering how to reach kids who are too far from your office for an in-person play therapy session?

As a play therapist, you know the value of personal interactions. Is there a way to integrate technology to engage your clients without sacrificing the connection?

In this course, we'll talk about how to use technology in your play room without sacrificing your play therapy principles.

You can use the video games your clients love to help them make progress and be ethical at the same time.

We'll cover APT Best Practices in using technology and teletherapy to serve your play therapy clients.

Whether you attend live in Houston or via our live stream, you'll find solid ground for using technology in your play therapy practice.

3 Hours Non-Contact (via Streaming)

What We'll Cover

Here are the learning objectives for our training:

  1. Explain best practices in teleplay therapy sessions

  2. Use technology with play-based interventions

  3. Identify video games to use in play therapy sessions with clients of all ages

  4. Analyze the use of virtual therapy in play therapy

  5. List ways to use virtual sand tray in play therapy sessions

You'll leave with an idea of why and how this approach will work for your older clients, along with activity ideas.

All this for $75!!
